Biography

Responsible for providing overall supervision, strategic direction, and coordination of research activities, while overseeing all organizational and programmatic operations. Plays a key role in driving the growth, development, and long-term sustainability of the organization.

She is also an experienced transportation engineer and researcher with a strong background in transport planning, gender-inclusive mobility, and sustainable transport policies. With over a decade of experience in both academia and industry, have developed and delivered courses in civil engineering, focusing on transportation, traffic engineering, and surveying. Also led several international and local research projects, collaborating with esteemed institutions such as the University of Leeds, the University of Manchester, and WALK21.

She also worked on several international projects aimed at addressing transport mobility challenges in low-income communities. As a Transport Expert in the International Network for Transport and Accessibility in Low-Income Communities (INTALINC), collaborated with researchers from the UK (University of Oxford, University of Leeds, and University of Manchester), Africa, and East Asia to find innovative solutions to the mobility needs of vulnerable populations in Bangladesh, Ghana, Nigeria, and Uganda.
